      Fishy,

      Thanx for replyin.
C i've been reading a lot about Chiron , but wanna know someone with whom i can share experiences due to this placement alike...
For starters there was a time i wouldnt feel ok being here in this world in my teens. Was so much into Other worldly realms ; often hating reality and had a escapist tendency...
Even got institutiionalized for 2 wks in bklyn...
Years later i read it in a book and went berserk !
Yet there are references of being a medium of some sort !!! lol
      (pickin up Extraterrestrial frequencies !!!)
Did you even come close to what ive been through?

i have chiron in 9th, retrograde, along with planet jupiter in pisces. i felt not of this world too as a kid--had escapist tendencies etc and clearly remember visualizing myself in a steel vault during school--to block out mean teachers, mean bullies, and plain lame-o kids who would actually think they were helping me, being kind etc by saying "i always see you over here sad and alone. you look so lonely, i want to help you by becoming your friend..." HOW COLDLY INSENSITIVE and RUDE!! they made me feel like a lowly crud under their shoe they were taking pity on. of course i told them to shove off! i, too liked to befriend kids who appeared lonely and sad but i had tact and never-ever made someone feel like a pity case or a pathetic joke as compared to all the normal kids, etc--many adults who are counselors today (and back then)---act in the tactless way i described "to help" kids----and are oblivious to how completely searingly hurtful they are. i am back in college now as an adult trying to finish my bachelors' for counseling---but i really really fear flunking out due to math science or statistics etc---and won't get to help people as quickly as i'd like!!! any ideas out there? thank-you!!!

p.s. had my share of - strange encounters too ....
        lol

have chiron in 12th conjunct venus.
    aquarius.

so if the planets are what is operating
the house is the area of life in which they operate
and the sign is sort of how they manifest that operaton...

the things i love are hidden, not always revealed
the healing power i can have is also - unexpected -
and i'm assuming that there is hidden potential
as well as probably subconscious issues or tendencies..
    in both those areas,
though what would bring them to light - not sure.

    oversimplified ?

what sign is yours in and what planets aspected ?

I have Chiron in the 4th house, but Taurus.

The 12th house often means isolation and the subconscious. So it is likely that the healing as represented by Chiron that would take place for you would be:

    a. Related to the fear of being isolated coupled with Taurus it means, not having enough, people with this placement are terrified of being left out on the streets as a destitute, without a penny to their name, being in a mental instituition, having lots to say but it's not being heard.

    and/ or

    b. The healing could take place better only when in isolation and working with your subconscious in order to heal.

When it comes to Taurus, the first earth sign to appear on the zodiac, it talks about being nurtured by the world in the material way. Do I have enough to go to school? Do I have sufficient to have a shirt on my back? Do I have enough to take care of myself and my family? Will I die okay?

You may only undo your own issues on your own; meditations, affirmations, lots of positive self- dialogue while admitting your own fears and shortcomings and accepting them. This is as suggested by your 12th house placement than say in the 6th house, where your working environment may present you with opportunities to work with such issues, or the 7th house, where your lessons may come to you in the form of marriage partners. I would suggest meditations and affirmations.

Your mind and willpower drives your healing more than anything else. Support from outside will not be as helpful as your own mind and will. So keep your head on your shoulders, but not in the form of denial of your 'darker' sign, but in integrating and accepting it as part of your whole.

I have chiron in the 12-th house also. I like this description

CHIRON IN PISCES OR THE TWELFTH HOUSE
Those who have Chiron here have an awareness that there is something beyond what they are able to comprehend. This is a frustration which can create mental and emotional problems which don't mix very well. They are often involved with or interested in minerals and medical advice of all kinds. Their curiosity seems to have little or no limits, even though they seldom get close to investigating all that they subconsciously suspect is there. This is bound to give them an inferiority complex which others have difficulty understanding. It comes about because they are keenly aware that there is much they don't know which, in most cases, their acquaintances have little if any problem with. That is, what they don't know. Their nature is implosive, closing in on itself. There is a recognizance which binds them to this consciousness which is too nebulous to describe. They don't easily ignore what they don't know. It bothers them that they are keenly aware of something they have no way of knowing how to explore. They also have no way of knowing that not everyone has this feeling. Most of these people never stop learning. They appear to be unusually intelligent and knowledgeable. They seem to be caught in limbo between the material and the spiritual world, not really knowing which is the real world. Their maverick nature takes them into areas that are not properly appreciated or recognized by society. This may cause them some disappointment as well as make them look down on society for missing so much that they seem to take for granted. Truth is very important. They may go to great lengths to find evidence which does not convince those they would like to educate. Most are so imbued with love that they seldom, if ever, turn violent as a result of the frustration they live with. They really have a need to belong to the society in which they find themselves, even if it continues to fail to make sense to them. I am inclined to believe that these people will be a great help to the rest of us as the renaissance we are in continues to take us in the direction we need to go to build a better world. Right now we have made such a mess of things and are holding on to such unworkable dogma that people with Chiron in Pisces is nothing more than bewildered by what they see.

Here is what I wrote in my book on Chiron in the 12th house:

"These people are experimenters and are multi-talented. They always have at least one goal to work on and an unlimited desire to learn and to increase the foundation of knowledge. Most especially, they want to learn of the hidden truths behind the apparent reality, to the point where they have a fear that some door will open to them when they are unprepared, so they feel that they must always try to learn as much as they can on every subject (to prepare them for anything they may uncover.) They have an interest in the past, and usually a talent for bringing things from the past into the present to make them once again serve a useful purpose. Almost always they have many projects going on at the same time so they are frequently in danger of overextending themselves. They usually have a very strong awareness of the unrealized potentials in both situations and people. Quite frequently they are known for their intellectual arrogance, and for the fact that they enjoy the role of dissenter. Yet it is quite common for them to not realize how they hinder themselves by holding maverick views. One of the most frequently experienced traits of this position is a tendency to not receive credit for things they have done, but at the same time they lack concern when this happens. There also exists a talent for “do-it-yourself” because often they cannot find anyone else to do what they want done. Most are moody. And most have a very strong awareness that the universe is filled with greater laws than those which are visible only through the five senses, and greater power than any which humans are capable of completely understanding.

I have Chiron in the 12th and I can easily see myself in both.

          I *am* moody.

A lot of the things you describe are things that... *had* to be resolved when I was going through my Saturn Return... getting credit, learning how to be concerned when I do not receive credit (it may BE arrogance, but I am a kind of intellectual powerhouse... I am scared to read theory at present because I start speaking a different language and thinking different concerns... which is why I hope to get into graduate school so my "life long learning" has a focus and hopefully I am not following an out-dated path, although I probably am because I don't think anyone is doing work on material subjectivities....

But YAY, I have never understood how to "see" or "read" my Aries Chiron in the 12th. Thanks folks!

Well I am new here, but so glad I found this group. I have loved the descriptions posted here. I thought I was all alone in a screwed up world that did not understand where I was coming from...LOL....I love this description because it has described most of my life to a tee..and I have Chiron in my 12th house and in Pisces. So you can believe when I found you guys on the net I was "so relieved" that there are others like me...my biggest weakness is "helping others" "even when I know I should get out of the way and allow them to help themselves sometimes". Anybody else feel like that? And then I get mad at myself for allowing them to continue the behavior? Is there a way to stop that in myself? Any help would be so very greatly appreciated. And believe me I do understand about there being so much more out there that I cannot seem to comprehend or find information on. Wow, I am just so greatful the Universe led me to this tribe.

Hope you all have a wonderful week.

    Chiron in the 12th house:

You have an interest in the past, and a talent for bringing things from the past into the present to make them once again serve a useful purpose. You are moody, but you know that if you follow your mood and “do something with it,” any mood can leave something interesting behind...and that means you have the makings of an Artist or a Craftsman. You have a very strong awareness that the universe is filled with greater laws than those which are visible only through the five senses, and greater power than any which humans are capable of completely understanding. Therefore, you appreciate “mystery.”

This a great description Maggie, everything here is true for me. I am quite connected with my chiron, both the painful and the spiritual side of it. Probably because i have moon mercury uranus in opposition with chiron.
Do you have this chiron placement, and if you do, do you feel it intensly in your life?

No, I have Chiron in the 4th house in Sagittarius, myself. But I am intensely interested in Chiron in all its manifestations...and am doing a chart for someone who has Chiron in the 12th house.....and, of course, I LOVE the 12th house! ;-)

Check the latitude, if comet Chiron has northern decl/lat it is in 12th if 30 by altitude. Programs fail at this much as in all th rest. Comet Chiron is at perihelion this summer, meaning time to study this remnant.

My soulmate has this. Chiron in Aquarius in the 12th house. Here's what I've found in addition to what is here.

Chiron in Pisces or the Twelfth House: It's a little hard to describe Chiron in Pisces, because the crisis it creates is on a level of "Universal Consciousness". There are often religious or spiritual crises related to this placement, because the native feels more connected to the spiritual or "God" level than to the physical or material plane. The native can be drawn to angelic imagery, and they are often psychic, empathic or exhibit healing ability. Depression and drug usage are a risk, because these individuals are so psychically sensitive. Working to help or heal others can be healing to this placement, but it can also be harmful if they are not sufficiently mature to handle dealing with the stress. The native can benefit from the study of psychic protection.

Chiron in Aquarius or the Eleventh House: These folks may seem utterly other-worldly. They may be drawn to technology in order to feel comfortable, safe and accepted. They may avoid social interaction and feel uncomfortable in large groups of people, mainly because of peer problems in their youth, or because they seem odd or different to their peers. Social rejection makes them withdraw into only those groups of people who share their interests and concerns, and they currently find great comfort in the opportunities provided by the Internet.

I would say he has more of the 12th house write up. He doesn't like large groups or new people, but he hasn't had problems with social rejection at all. He's much more acceptable than I am. LOL Of course I'm also Chiron in Aquarius but in the 4th house which makes complete sense for me.

chiron in the 12th to me means that the person with this placement can have sub-consious issues that thay need to resolve, that may function from a place that is driven by hidden influiences, can also have a potential for alchol abuse or drug addiction, but its never the same for everybody, it can also be a person who is strong enough to overcome mental issues, that are difficult or painful, my 8 yr old son has this placement natally, and his dad(who is no longer in the picture) was a heavy addict of all drugs, so he will prob deal w/ this as he grows up, i do my best to keep him mentally and emtionally stable, but i think it help that his chiron is in sag.. and i am a sag...so i knda feel like i am helping him...hope im not crazzy...

I hope this post helps anyone else with their chiron in Pisces. I was born with various psychic abilities including healing through my hands and very effective in healing homes from negative energies that would like to collect there. I was born under the sign of Aquarius, on the cusp of Pisces. I am an avid learner, teacher in public high school, and now a social worker. I am actively working towards my MA in Social Work. I have been described as a perpetual student, and I really do not mind one bit. We are all connected in our humanity (spirit) and I am always willing to help anyone I can. Here is the rough road with the chiron in pisces, at least for me; My true inner healing comes when I have betrayed myself with what I thought was my true inner beliefs of how I felt about myself. I have had this happen twice in my lifetime, absolutely gut wrenching stuff, but the healing and consciousness that follows helps to put all the pain of this transformation far from my memory. I am still healing from the last one but already aware I am coming back even stronger.
Wishes for the sun to shine upon your path
